Explore and apply the world of art in Skopje. Encourage and take innovative approaches in the organization of cultural activities.

Each program provides an opportunity for practice within the team of the chosen cultural organization, working in a real creative environment, training for creating programs and events, and meetings with artists, managers, and professionals in the field.

Case Study: Macedonian Photographic Center

Training Activity Details:

We explored photography’s roots and its digital future by diving into thought-provoking workshops, exhibitions, and deep conversations. Lidija Pajevikj’s session on the preservation of old photographs set the stage for a guided exhibition tour led by Robert Jankuloski, who unveiled rare glass plate negatives from Zafir Oshavkov’s photographic work, offering a glimpse into Macedonian visual heritage.
Day 1: MARATHON
A creative deep dive, Friendly Match (Case Study), immersed participants in a vibrant fusion of artistic discovery, cultural heritage, and creative collaboration. The day unfolded with an inspiring city walks and a museum visit. Then, future cultural managers engaged in networking and hands-on creative sessions, consolidating insights from previous days and forming case study groups to explore photography’s role in cultural preservation.
Day 2: ORIENTATION

Day 3: FRIENDLY MATCH (Case Study)

Day 4: BASE CAMP
Film, memory, and storytelling. Base Camp, at the esteemed Cinematheque of Macedonia, offered a rich blend of insights and actionable takeaways. Igor Stardelov’s captivating presentation on the Film Depot and the nuanced process of preserving old film materials underscored the essential role of safeguarding cinematic heritage. This was followed by the screening of Manaki – A Story in Pictures and an engaging discussion with filmmaker Robert Jankuloski.
Day 5: DRAGONS DAY + HOME RUN
The final day marked a reflective close to the CultartPro Photography Program as participants shared heartfelt testimonials on the transformative power of merging creative innovation with Skopje’s rich heritage. From presenting museum concepts, to debating the ethical dimensions of AI in photography, to digitalizing treasured historical records, each team shared projects that moved us. We ended the journey at Cifte Hamam, reflecting on legacy, future, and everything in between.
